God Is Our Covenant Keeper!

Genesis 9:12-17 (NIV)
And God said, "This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth."
So God said to Noah, "This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth."

Yesterday was the first day of my vacation, and as I prayed my usual prayer for God's protection on the flight and other travel on the road, I also asked God to reveal himself to me in a very special way this week. As our flight was descending and we were perhaps 20,000 feet above ground, I looked out the window and saw a beautiful rainbow. It was so beautiful and my immediate response was filled with joy and admiration, and it was so difficult to remain silent! Within seconds, many passengers had the same response to notify the others of the beautiful sight on the right side of the plane.
Several hours later on the same day, just moments before the sunset, another beautiful rainbow appeared over the ocean. I quickly ran out to the shore to get a few pictures, and many people were joyously doing the same thing!
Dear Friend, I know that God has answered my prayer already to reveal Himself to me this week. Take a few moments right now to seek Him and ask Him to reveal a special blessing to you. Our God is a covenant maker and is certainly a covenant keeper, and He is always ready to listen to His precious children, especially when our desires are in line with His wonderful, matchless promises!
