Time with God

"1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the
Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning.
3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that
has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of men.
5 The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not
understood it."
1 John 1:1-5

This verse came to me as I am trying to commit myself to spending more
time with God. We are called to talk to God and spend time reading
His Word. I know this is a basic message, but we all get caught up in
the busy times of our lives and families and I feel we need to
reiterate this point every now and then. We need to keep ourselves in
check.

I will commit to spending an extra 30 minutes a day with my God, will
