How Great Thou Art

(NIV) Isaiah 45:18 For this is what the LORD says— he who created the heavens, he is God; he who fashioned and made the earth, he founded it; he did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited— he says: "I am the LORD, and there is no other." Dear Friend, when I read these verses today, I was reminded of the beautiful words in the song, "How Great Thou Art" written by Carl Boberg in 1885. I have been asked to play this song on my harp at churches, funerals, concerts, and other gatherings. Take a moment to reflect on and sing the inspiring words of the first verse in this song in your time with God today. "O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder, Consider all the worlds thy hands have made; I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder, Thy power throughout the universe displayed."
