Self-Control

How easy it is to sin when we have little self-control? No matter who you are or what your situation is, Satan feeds on little self-control. Proverbs 25:28 - Like a city whose walls are broken down is a man who lacks self-control. As the scripture says, if we have no control over ourselves, we might as well be a city with no defensive walls. We are completly open to attack from enemies. Whether its the media presenting an attractive girl, someone that gets on your nerves, stress that makes you say things or do things you wouldn't normally do, etc...Satan has many weapons to conquer your "city". So therefore, be strong in the Lord, let Him be your defense as well as your weapon to defeat the enemy. Read God's Word everyday, join a Bible study group, find some accountability buddys, and most importantly...pray to God often, especially in times of trials and temptations. He will deliver you, it just takes the strength and courage to stand and say NO to Satan!! Amen!! *We Serve An Awesome God* - Tyler
