What Do You See?

In this world we live in most people believe that someone can not change.  They believe that someone will always remain the same. But they don't realize that when God changes you, He makes you new.  He gives you new life, and what you do from that point defines you. When you look at yourself in the mirror, and walk away, do you remember what you look like?  Are you hearing the words spoken to you from God? Are you walking away from God?  Are you focused on what God wants?  I have been really caught on this lately.  God really has been working me over on hearing what He is saying, and doing what He is asking.  As you read James 1:23-25 ask yourself those questions. James Chapter 1 23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.
