Let Us Give Thanks!

Psalm 95:1-6 (NIV) "O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land. O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker." Psalm 100 (NIV) "Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations." Psalm 107:1 (NIV) "Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever." 1 Chronicles 29:11-13 (NIV) "Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all. Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name." Dear Friend, are you ready for Thanksgiving? You see, Thanksgiving is more than a day to gather around the dinner table to eat turkey, mashed potatoes, and cranberries with family and friends. When is the last time you expressed your thanks to God for your salvation? Take a few minutes right now to give thanks to Him for all of the many blessings in life.
