Create in me a pure heart

Psalm 51:10-12 (NIV)
"Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me."

Ephesians 4:31-32 (NIV)
"Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."

Romans 6:13-14 (NIV)
"Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness. For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace."

1 Peter 1:15-16 (NIV)
"But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy."

Dear Friend, how long has it been since you asked God to create in you a pure heart? If it has been awhile, today is a brand new day, and is a wonderful day to begin a new journey with Him. Our Savior longs to have a relationship with you, and desires to fill you with the Holy Spirit. He has commanded each and everyone of us to be holy in all we do. Can you imagine a world that is filled with a people that desire holiness? Let it begin with you, and let it begin today.
