| (NIV) Micah 6:8 "He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." Many years ago, I memorized this verse and can recite it today. I challenge you to memorize it also. What an awesome reminder in this verse for us each and every day to live our lives as God requires. Circumstances, temptations, and situations in life cause us to drift from God. He has encouraged us to walk daily with Him, and to be merciful, and to be humble, and to be true and right and just. Dear Friend, do you act justly and love mercy? To act justly requires a constant dedication and commitment to be fair and right in all we do, regardless of the circumstances. To love mercy, we must withhold deserved punishment to others as God has so richly offered His mercy to us. We can be true, and right, and just, if and only if we walk hand in hand, and walk humbly with our God who loves each and every one of us so much! Dave Henry |
