Ask

To ask is to depend on someone other than yourself. It is very humbling.
Asking indicates:

I don't know
I failed
I ran out
I can't find it
I'm not sure
I don't understand
I forgot
I didn't listen
I didn't care
I was wrong
I'm not prepared
I need more information
I came up short

Notice all of those started with "I". Why do we always try to do
things on our own. We don't include God and fall on our face. We
don't include our partner and have trouble succeeding. Matt. 7:7
clearly states: Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will
find, knock and the door will be opened to you. Matt 7:8 For everyone
who asks receives, he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks, the door
will be opened.
