| I was watching a show on tv last night that was about snakes, on a side note, it was awesome!! But back to my point, a guy was catching snakes and taking pictures of them. As I watched him take pictures while picking the snake up, I noticed how quickly and effortlessly he could strike the guy and kill him. This made me think of Adam and Eve when Eve ate the fruit she was not suppose to eat, then gave some to Adam also. When God said the snake would slither on the ground for the rest of it's days without feet, we find that Satan, who was playing the role of the snake, is always in our lives to tempt us. Also, he can strike and kill us almost instantly and without any effort. However, if you're well trained in the profession, you can pick up a deadly snake and have no problem telling it you are in control and that it can't harm you. I just found it really cool that this show on snakes was so closely resembling Satan's presence in our lives. The difference was that this guy actually went out looking for the snake. Even though he was purposely looking for it and trying to find it, he was still confident that when he did find it, he would know exactly what to do. Are you well-trained or at least in the process of training yourself to handle the snake in your life when it comes about? When Satan shows his face in your life, are you ready to handle it accordingly so as not be harmed or struck by his fangs? One way of training is a little thing I like to call B.asic I.instrustructions B.efore L.eaving E.arth, a.k.a. Bible. :) *Training myself to fight the battle for an awesome God* -Tyler |
