What an Amazing Friend We have in Jesus!

(NIV) Philippians 4:6-7 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." What a familiar couple of verses that promise us such comfort and peace! These two verses were written with great command. In front of the word 'Do' which is not written, but is implied, is the word 'you.' Also in front of the word 'present' is the word 'you' as well. Dear Friend, are you anxious today? The bible has commanded each and everyone of us to not be anxious about anything. Our society has enabled and propelled us to become creatures that harbor worry and anxiety. Our Father in heaven has commanded us to come to Him with our concerns and our worries and our anxiety. If and only if we come to Him with our burdens will we be able to find complete peace that is beyond our imagination and understanding. Won't you trust Him today? He is able and ready and willing to take away all of your cares and trade them for an abundance of everlasting peace! Dave Henry
